Due to its expense, rarity, and size, the F-22 Raptor will probably never be chosen as the primary aircraft featured in the Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team. But if it ever was chosen for this role, I'll bet the Raptor would be awesome! With it's stealthy "chine" along the edges of the nose, the Raptor really lends itself to the classic Thunderbirds paint job. Since you're never likely to see it in real life, please enjoy these images, as this is as close as we are ever likely to come to seeing it. Since the paint job seems to evolve a little bit each time a new aircraft is chosen for the Thunderbirds team, I took some liberties with paint scheme, cleaning things up a bit, especially the tail fins.
