Description

Developed in response to increasing threats, the warp-capable Omega-class Fighter/Bomber was able to deliver up to 7 precision-guided photon torpedoes on target at long-range, projecting power at great distances without exposing its base Starship to enemy fire.
While the Omega-class was conceived as a torpedo bomber, this rugged yet nimble craft is capable of remarkable speed and maneuverability once it has delivered its payload.
After designing my Vanguard-Class Starfighter, I thought it might be interesting to see what a Starfleet fighter might look like if it featured Starfleet’s classic “saucer” design. The underside of the broad saucer-section lent itself to storing an impressive number of torpedoes, so the ship's role evolved into that of a torpedo bomber.
