Disposition – extremely timid, quiet, soft-spoken, but curious, observational and investigative – movements are not quite natural, slightly jerky, lasting too long; uncanny valley – may express displeasure, but does not take action to remedy the situation – can be creative – very literal-minded – has special affinity for Raph, after initial hesitance, which he doesn’t exactly return

Eating – Despite being an AI, Raven appears to need fuel, and Earth food fits the bill. She eats by absorption, smashing or pouring things into herself, generally not using her mouth. Views all foods from her original experiences: the taco shop (e.g., regards pizza as a ‘quesadilla’). Likes: tacos, quesadillas, pizza, Abuelita’s hot chocolate with marshmallows (they float through her to the top of her head; says they tickle).

Abilities/Fighting – shapeshifting – She will very suddenly revert to a puddle before reforming into a new shape, but always remains her base color. Can flow into tiny spaces: under doors, into locks to manipulate them, etc. Can merge with dark shadow as a thin black mass on a wall or floor. Is not a fighter; will shy from aggression, but if one of her friends is in danger, she may use her form to attack

Despite being a mass of goo, she will freeze and emit a high-pitched electronic scream if pierced. Complains that it is displeasurable. Can also be disrupted by high-pitched sound-waves, loses stability/control of her form. Dislikes or feels pain from being cut off from part of herself.

History/Affiliation –((contains spoilers)) Raven crash-landed in a backalley on Earth in NYC, behind a taco shop, and mimicked the first being she encountered: a raven.  The next were the two young children of the taqueria’s owners, who were not afraid, but rather wanted to play with their new gooey friend and brought her food and taught her to speak (Spanish).  When the kids’ parents encountered the alien shapeshifter, mimicking one of the children, they attacked her with a broom.
She sought refuge by flowing down a sewer grate, and spent several days simply wandering aimlessly, until she encountered the turtles during a game of ninja sewer hide and seek. She forms into a turtle mutant like them, but in her timidity at Mikey’s forwardness and Raph’s snappish attitude, tucks into her shell (despite the actual physical limitations).  For lack of better options, they bring her to April’s, where Raven first changes shape in front of them, much to their shock, turning into a doppelganger of April, and later a gender-bent version of Casey when he arrives.  Raph and Mikey dub her an ‘inkblot’ and start referring to her as ‘Rorschach.’  Don insists on studying Raven, and despite Raph’s complaints and Leo’s trepidation, they bring her to the lair, where she stays as a houseguest.
After one of Raph and Leo’s typical blow-ups, Raph storms out of the lair, and Raven follows.  Once they go topside, in a moment of distraction, they are caught by Bishop.  Raph tells her to escape, but she refuses to let him be taken alone.  Bishop sets them up for the usual torture-vivisection.  Raven easily slips her bonds and moves to free Raphael, but is caught in a glass bell that drops from the ceiling.  She is compliant as she is moved away, and as they start to perform tests on her, but as Bishop resumes threatening Raph with the buzz-saw blade, She makes a firm request of, “Do not harm Raphael.”  He proceeds, just to rattle her.  She manages, with difficulty, to slowly phase through the glass, whereupon she is subdued with a number of sonic blasts.  As Bishop is lording over the unmoving puddle, she splashes up and forces into his mouth and nose, coating his lungs.  As he passes out, Raph reasons with her to not kill him; he doesn’t want her to be a killer.  She relents, and lets Bishop breathe, and the two of them escape.
