Description
Personally, I think I prefer uncolored version :I77 frames, colored while watching movies, so it probably took about... 6 hours? Done with Adobe Photoshop CS6
Since many of you asked me this, and I am sired of answering every single note/ comment about tips and tutorials 'how to animate stuff' I decided to share a nice tutorial that I stumbled upon on my tumblr.
[link] <-- here is everything I'm wiling to share about animating, that is how to use photoshop to make animations. Unfortunatelly tips about the movement I'm going to keep for myself. Professional secrecy! Mwuahahha.
Eriu belongs to me.

I love your works! I'm not sure if this has been asked already, but do you have any information about your characters? Like basic descriptions and stuff because they're really, REALLY interesting. But if that's also a 'professional secret', then it's cool! What matters is that I get to let you know how awesome your characters and your overall works are! Your animation gives them so much attitude and that just makes me cry hehe.

The best part of this animation is how realistic you make her expression. The glance up, then the second glance as she's speaking... I love little additions like that. It add so much character.Β

gasp! You can tell Photoshop to do that with frames? D: ...why didn't I know that already?
so... no tips about movement, huh... I guess it's just something I have to think more about, and/or look at people in real life. (actually, I saw your "Behold Mora" pic in my random faves a minute ago, and ended up searching your gallery for "tutorial" to see if there was any way I could figure out how to do all that moving around. This, and the animationΒ that has theΒ inbetween tips link, came up. They're both nice tutorial thingies, though.)

Ah, that suddenly makes a lot more sense! What did he do to earn captivity... and be abandoned by his friends? Seems kinda like he was breaking and entering. Sorry, the storyline just really interests me, you're good at this!

excuse, how do you export this without losing frame rate quality? ive been working on some animations in PS6 and every time i save them for the web, i choose Gif and the quality slightly lags. do you have any tips? thanks.
π: 0 β©: 1
Ravietta In reply to CartoonyStuff [2014-07-31 13:20:51 +0000 UTC]
Quality will always lag a bit when you work with colored animation. Basically, the less colors, the more quality. Here I only have a few, and variations between, and all of those fit within the around 260 colors in animation rule (and if not, program works with pixels to make it look nicer). The more colors and variations you have, the more simplified the scheme will have to be.

You can use any software for animation. But I think its in flash or something like that.. Because some smaller softwares arent that precise in timing of frames
But software doesnt help you to be better animator.
