I'm always amazed how well you can color stuff traditionally
It looks very clean and it feels so soft :3

Β the effects of the blue sol emerlad and her flame is such a nice idea, it keeps the picture interesting

I'm so glad I got this opportunity to draw her in such a cool pose and it was fun to play around with the light from the fire and ice colored Sol EmeraldΒ Β
I'm afraid some of the blue light from the emerald almost doesn't show at all due to my scanner 'eating' it up (that's one of the downsides with traditional art or maybe I just need a better scanner), but otherwise the colors came out okay.
Kitty's gonna need her claws when she's upset X3 Plus I love drawing details like that =w=

The shading on Blaze's coat and the Sol EmeraldΒ came out really well.
If that wasn't a Sol Emerald, I would've thought that this was a fire and ice theme.

We were free to pick whichever Sol Emerald we wanted so I actually picked the light blue one for its ice-like appearance X3Β
