So..I'm revamping an old project for this anythology that I'm currently trying to find time to work on.
So, this is my version of Io the Heifer Maiden from the mythology. Io was a girl who was turned into a cow by Zeus, the king of the gods.
Here is the old cover illustration that is about to be cut. Thought it would be nice to air it out because I still kinda like it. The anthology is black/white and this is sadly.. color..
You can even see a bit of unfinished underpainting in the left hand corner. hehe.

it's so beautiful, that poor Io/cow is the sweetest cow i've ever seen in lifetime (stupid Zeus! i never liked him, especially for he was so very unfaithful husband,

in my world there is a cow named Laskmi..
she has such a lovely story and is a kind of godess here
well..this painting made me remember about the cows..and the love i feel for them

A cow goddess! That rocks! I love cows. I haven't been able to eat one in years. I love drawing and painting cows.
