yes it is a challenge to make complete full and enjoyable pieces from a single or just a couple of layers.. some ducks are very nice as single layers and if you use inside and outside colouring with say doodads you can get some surprisingly complex and varied images.. good luck,it's always a pleasure to see your work

Ooh, no I don't mind how many layers I'll need to make it like I want, it is just the rendering time. Well doodads are forgotten long ago by me. Making something with the formula results in everyone saying - oh, doodads again used. Also the variability is not that much as one thinks on a first glance.

yes I meant it as an example of something with options not as a suggestion to use, i didn't know it was so passΓ©e but then I am ignorant of such things, rendering 50+ layers does start to get a bit slow

Thanks! The book is in Russian, "The three headed eagle". The storm is on a trip from England to Russia by sea.

Well thanks. I'm reading a lot in Russian as almost any books is easy to find. This is from series "Institute of experimental history" with lot of time traveling in paralel worlds.
