the technological singularity eventually gets brickwalled by the limits of the Planck legth and Chandrasekhar limit (i think?), but that's still plenty of room to really twist reality-as-we-know-it. and by then, it's likely we'll figure out ways around those pitfalls... somehow. who knows. interesting times are coming for the human race.
