Description

"Are you sure?" Soma asked as she returned the spider-creatures waves. "This little guy seems too friendly to not be somebody's pet."

"YES I'm sure!" Tra'lin answered emphatically as she fiddled with the resolution on the scanner finally getting a clear picture of what the

lifeforms the scanner was picking up were. Tra'lin was horrified the water was practically teaming with smaller spider-like creatures while

a veritable forest of tentacles spread out from a massive central lifeform at the very bottom of the tank. It then dawned on Tra'lin what

Soma might be seeing and as she turned towards her air-headed coworker she shouted, "Soma get away from that thing!" but it was too

late just as Tra'lin finished turning she saw the creature in question leap at Soma and latch on to her face.

"MMPH! MMMPPHHMPH!" Soma moaned as she took a couple staggering steps towards Tra'lin while trying to pull the creature off her face.

Startled Tra'lin dropped the scanner which clattered across the floor but before Tra'lin could recover there was a splashing sound behind her

as a tentacle shot from the water and wrapped around her neck before lifting her into the air. Tra'lin's shock rapidly morphed into terror

as the tentacle squeezed her neck making it hard to breathe as she struggled and kicked and tried to free herself from the tentacle's grasp.

She could still hear Soma's moans behind her though they seemed to be growing weaker whatever that creature on Soma's face was it was

doing something to incapacitate its prey. However in Tra'lin's desperate struggles for freedom she failed to notice another of those spider

creatures pull itself from the water and begin climbing the tentacle. With a clang Tra'lin heard Soma fall to her knees back on the platform

her loud protests now reduced to muted mewling and then Tra'lin spotted the second spider as it reached the top of the tentacle and began

walking towards her. Tra'lin's struggles reached a fever pitch as she fruitlessly tried to break free but the tentacle was too strong and her

struggles lacked their usual oomph thanks to her lack of air. Never one to give up Tra'lin tried to bat the creature away when it was close

enough but the spider was nimble and easily dodged her blows coming right up to her head. Tra'lin soon found herself in the same situation

as Soma as the spider batted her breathing mask off into the water below and latched on to her face. With one final groan Tra'lin heard Soma

collapse to the ground as she finally lost consciousness and Tra'lin wasn't far behind her struggles rapidly dwindling thanks to the tentacle

choking off her air supply. Before long Tra'lin too lost consciousness and the tentacle gently placed her next to Soma before vanishing into

the depths of the tank to retrieve more cocoons. Shortly afterwords the clones of Teli and Yassani arrived placing Alaren and Kroma on the

ground beside Soma and Tra'lin before fetching two spiders and letting them latch on to the two new additions as tentacles surfaced

carrying four cocoons to begin the cloning process.

Here's another part to the Infestation story that I had made a while ago but forgot about I wonder what the next part of the plan is for the clone
