Description
This toy was originally a Marvel/Transformers Crossover Thor. Since Thor's alt mode (an A-10 Warthog) is nearly identical to a Cobra Rattler, changing him to Cobra Commander seems like an obvious customization. About 85% of the toy has been repainted and Thor's head was remolded with modeling putty. The nose of the jet was modded so that it now collapses flush to his torso. I also added lots of stickers and some clear coat to protect his finish.

To be fair, there has been at least one such custom on the interweb for years. However, it's amazing how the same basic idea can be taken in such different directions. The drastically differing head sculpts are the most obvious example, but I'm especially proud of the more subtle details in this project...like the red stripe going down his pants seams.
