This is how I would visualize a "Glass Castle". This concept I dedicate to my english 4 honours teacher, Mrs. Faith Jackson. She made us read this book called "The Glass Castle" and It was a life changing experience for me. Its basically a memoir about a woman named Jeannette Walls (she's a writer and works for MSNBC now) and her insane family life and how her dad (who was a loving and brilliant but slightly selfish alcoholic) promised her one day he would build a glass castle and it would be their dream home. It symbolizes dreams and ambitions and how life changes but the meaning remains the same. Out of all my pieces of my senior year of high school, this has been my most inspired and my favourite piece, I love it with all my heart and this piece will remain special to me. It reminds me that life goes on despite bad things and overcoming adversity is just about picking up and moving along.....this was done completely in Ink and Prisma Colours.....
