Description
I've been in a Kingdom Hearts mood lately now that I've pre-ordered Birth By Sleep (It's not out in the UK yet, so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE no spoilers)

So I figured I'd might as well get back to finishing this thing that I started on ages ago.

The main piece of influence to the design is a mix of the Kingdom Key and Kingdom Key D (Sora and Mikey's keys, respectively) and was largely because I heard somewhere that the 4 keys between Sora, Mikey, Riku and Kairi were called:

Key to Light
Key to Darkness (hence the D and why he had to be on the other side of the door when it shut)
Way to Dawn
and Way to Dusk

(there's a little bit of Oathkeeper in the design as well)

The two halves of the keyblade represent light and dark respectively, locked together, holding each other in place and supporting each other to make a powerful force.

I suck at drawing chains and thought rather than ruin the picture with my shoddy attempts at one, I'll just draw the decoration part of it end and be done with it.

I was tempted to have the decoration as the two gold and silver mickey heads from the two kingdom keys, but decided to go with the two crowns instead.
