I'm a big fan of GavinoElDiaploGuapo's work and recently, he started a project called "Silver Point".
It sounded like such a cool story that I proposed I draw it in Laika fashion. He consented, and here's the final product!

This is a collaboration between me and GavinoElDiabloGuapo.

Commentary: Where to begin? I borrowed the negative space silhouette style of the wolf from DiabloGuapo's original.

I loved illustrating the Title Card with Silver Gel Pen. Also, I really liked drawing the flashlight's beams from Penny's flashlight.

But my favorite part was drawing and illustrating the characters as Laika characters. The trick is to make them characitures, at least to an extent you can make them stylized stop-motion puppets.
Peter (Center) had fun contures in his hands, and I liked illustrating his nose and hair to have boyish trait. He may be a young teenager, but I wanted to preserve that youthful child-like quality that his creator intended. Penny (to Peter's left) was given a nose shaped to look awkward to match her nerdy nature. Jay (to Peter's right) needed a pointy nose and hair bang to illustrate how flighty he can be. Lastly, Thomas (far left) was made to have almond-shaped eyes and small nose to be a balance between the "bad boy" and feline.
