Description
It was surprisingly fun to draw these antagonists as ponies or qilin.
Also, aside from Piggot-Dunceby, these are notably the only characters I've ever drawn with eyes that lack highlights. And it's really effective for bringing out their respective characters.

There's not much I can say about drawing Piggot-Dunceby except that I made him a unicorn for two reasons. First, it represents how Lionel believes the only way he can be taken seriously as an adventurer is to be validated by a unicorn pony, given the caste system in Equestria. Second, it connotes how in the movie, Sir Lionel would like to find a unicorn.

Like Tempest Shadow (aka Fizzle Pop Berry Twist), Stenk's unicorn horn was damaged during a hunt against a dangerous creature. But unlike Tempest, Stenk's horn still retains the magic to levitate objects, even if it's erratic at the best of times. At most, he can toss objects, but with bad aim. Normally, losing a horn would break a unicorn pony's heart; but it doesn't bother Skenk that much, so long as he can do what he does best: hunting, killing and skinning.

In case you're wondering why the Qilin Elder looks like a llama, that's because she is a llama. After all, she is from "Shangri-llama".
Naturally, her angry/defensive form is known as a Niliq. (Drawing her flames was my favorite part!)

Commentary: Skenk's cutie mark is self-explanatory. Piggot-Dunceby's cutie mark is a blown-out candelabra because it reflects that although he's grand-looking and resplendent, he only serves to snuff out enlightenment and progress. As for the Yeti/Qilin Elder, her cutie mark is a comb because of how much fluffy fur her guards have to comb.
