Description
Yelling at someone can have mixed results. It can either inspire respect, or sour that respect.Enjoy!
I do not own "Kubo and the Two Strings". It belongs to Laika.
I do not own "Moana". It belongs to Disney.

I really liked Moana. It reminded me a lot of Bionicle (the G1 version) but without Cyborgs, crossed with Legend of Zelda Wind Waker.

That was a good movie! It taught that you aren't defined by what you possess, but by who you are

Very true, and the adventure and such was great too.
I especially liked how it was rather similar to Bionicle though. If you've ever seen Bionicle (the G1 Version), you'd note a lot of cool similarities, such as these.
-For starters, if you recall, Moana's home island was called "Mata Nui." In Bionicle, that's the exact same name of both the main island, and the Great Spirit.
-In Bionicle, the main quest in was to find a life-giving artifact and then use it to restore a dormant god, in order to stop the spread of corruption, just like in Moana (Tefiti and her Heart for Moana, Great Spirit Mata Nui and the Mask Of Life for Bionicle).
-And also similarly, the said god formed an entire island out of his/her body when he went to sleep (well multiple islands for Mata Nui, since he is a lot bigger).
-Moana herself I found to be similar to Takua in Bionicle. Like her, he is a headstrong and independent and brave villager who though sometimes looked down upon by others, has done many great things, including helped great warrior(s) (Maui or The Toa) return. Plus they both have a dimwitted pet who comes along with them (Moana had her chicken, Takua had Pewku).
Heck, Takua also had that stuff that he isn't defined by what he has, but what he is, as for he has done just as much help as The Toa (and the later plot twist with him is more on this).
-Maui was a lot like a Toa from Bionicle. In Bionicle, the Toa were legendary warriors who no longer ages (some of the Toa were mentioned to have lived for thousands of years) and has special powers and such. Although Maui was a lone Demigod, while there were several Toa.
-Plus, like most of the Toa in Bionicle, Maui was originally an ordinary villager until he was chosen by the gods to help change the world for the better.
-Also, like the Toa, he has a secondary ability that he can only use when he has a certain gifted magic artifact with him. For Maui it was his hook, for the Toa it was their Masks.
-Part of their quest involved going down into an underwater city, just like in Bionicle when they ventured into the underwater cities of The Pit and Mahri Nui.
-And in that said underwater city, they had to fight an underwater bottom-feeding beast who collects things off the Ocean Floor and stole one of the Artifacts they needed, (In Moana it was the Giant Crab, Tamatoa, in Bionicle it was Gadunka).
What do you think of that? Made me like the movie even more for those reasons.

That is true, I was familiar with the name "Mata Nui" for some reason
I can see Moana being like Takua, but at the same time, she's much more level-headed than Takua
(especially when she's compared to Maui).
(I only saw the movie with the Visorak)

I see. Well the parts with The Pit and Mahri Nui, and the part where they go to restore The Mask Of Life (not to be confused with the Mask of Light, the mask Takua gains) never got made into movies, unfortunately, but it did appear in the Bionicle Comics and Novels and Toy Line.
In the second movie, you get to see how Vakama, Nuju, Nokama, Whenua, Matau, and Onewa, were chosen to become Toa, after they were originally just regular villagers too.
Also in the Mask of Life Arc, the villagers, Jaller, Matoro, Hahli, Nuparu, Kongu, and Hewkii also get selected by the gods and become Toa as well.

I like the sound of these Bionicle movies
Especially the second one, acting like the origin story of how they became Toa

I'd imagine Kubo doing the same thing Kenai did when Denahi tells him to tie up the fish.
Kubo: (Imitating the Chief) No one goes beyond the reef. (Sticks his tongue out)

Kubo acts like such a tween! I can picture kubo doing that to Yama in Big Hero 6 after the bot fight
Yama: NO ONE HUSTLES YAMA!
Kubo: (Imitating Yama) No one hustles Yama! (Rolls his eyes)

Hey, go easy on him, Chief. Besides, you've been blind to the ocean's true purpose for far too long.

Funny, there's a Chief in "Moana" and a Chief in "Zootopia"

Thanks, and I bet Monkey/Sariatu and Beetle/Hanzo have something to say about his attitude.
Weird, huh? Could be a coincidence...or not.

Beetle: (humbly unaware of how much bigger he is than the Chief) Hey dude, chill!
Monkey: (up front) That was a little harsh for a child, wouldn't you say?

Ha, ha! I like how his yelling blows Kubo's hair to one side. The little 'emoji' blowing a raspberry is a nice touch too (I enjoy watching Disney's rendition of its movies told with emojis.)

lol Thank you! That was my favorite part,
especially how the whole thing is parallel to "I encourage you not to die"
(really wishing for an emoticon of Monkey smiling)
I'm happy I could make the emoji work!
