Description This may be familiar to some of you, it\'s a reworking of one of my older wallpapers from November of 2000.
The credit for the concept is due to \"Another World II\" by the late M.C. Escher.

The room itself was constructed in Bryce using several Symmetrical Lattices.

The columns and lamps were likewise created in Bryce using various Primitives, Lattices, and Boolian Objects.

The horizon view and overhead Ground views were created in Bryce as well, utilizing a pair of fractal terrains textured with a material which I tweaked in the Deep Texture Editor. Both views were rendered seperately.

The starfield was created using a trial version of Universe.

All the various elements, along with various mask renders, were imported into Photoshop 5.0 to be airbrushed and assembled as a single 300dpi, 7200x10800 pixel image.

For the full effect you should try to view the entire image on the screen at once, the Full View is quite large in order to show the details.

Escher is god of Lithography and you have done a wonderful job re-interpreting god.

Hey really nice. When you zoom in though I really think you lose some of the effect since the picture is kind of jagged and the textures seem a little repetive. The thumbnail though is really impressive I think, that almost looks like a photo.

Fantastic reworking. What would Escher be like digitalized????? He would be a deviant for sure! BTW this is a great example of what I see after being on the computer for two days nonstop.
