Description
Another freehand pencil drawing which I did back in '97.It was based on an advertisement for a hair salon which appeared in our local newspaper. I liked the pose and hairstyle well enough to use it for this work.

I think it's in these works that you succeed the most. Subjective opinion of course, but the emergence of a form from the surrounding emptiness has always been appealing. Probably has something to do with heightened contrast.
