Description
First, allow me to apologize to anyone who may be offended by this work- I fully intended for it to be provacative, shocking and more than a bit twisted but I'm hoping that not to out-and-out offend anyone.Now, regarding the image itself;
Lacking any photography skills or beautiful models, the basis of the image was done in Poser 4. Just getting the model posed properly took several hours of trial and error to get it as natural as Poser itself is capable of looking.
After rendering the image was imported into Photoshop5 for the airbrushing work.
This stage took me close to a week and a half of painstaking effort with my trackball mouse.
During this time I recolored the skin tone, shadows, and made my anatomical modifications.
After this one I am definitely buying myself a Wacom tablet.

I like the art (a toothed vagina, what an idea!) and I don't see why it should be banned from DeviantArt.
But:

Wow, for an admin, you don't seem to know the rules yourself. Spreading of the vagina is prohibited, regardless of whether or not it has teeth. It is a cool and shocking picture, but it is not allowed on this site and I would ask you to take this and the close-up shot down. If you want to stop pornography and other prohibited artwork from being posted, you should probably be setting an example by following this to the tee.
I wouldn't be surprised if I was banned for speaking up, but that's okay too, since I'm sick off all the art theft, porn and underaged users you let roam free.

Ah, the "vagina dentata", Freud wrote about it extensively. This concept is really not all that bizarre or even unusual, it is a popular trope in psychology that addresses the common male infantile fear of losing the penis.
Have you read any Lacan? You might be interested in his theories regarding the development of human consciousness and language acquisition, both of which are anchored on the absence (and/or presence) of the phallus. He picks up from Freud a little bit, but goes a step further. He discusses how young boys view the vagina not as a presence, but as a lack of the penis, which deeply affects them unconsciously (or sometimes consciously)

although both versions are quite original and very well rendered, this version is better than the reworked one imho because here the viewer's perception is drawn on the whole composition and the vulva with the lights / shadows matches the overall composition better while it dominates the picture in the reworked one. it's also good that you refined the work with the use of brushes and avoided the raw poser model looks which would spoil the great idea and the concept otherwise.

I think I prefer this version to the reworked version. The darkness fits the character. The seductive top and almost sweet face make the waiting trap even more hellish in comparison.
