Wow, great pose...very intimidating and powerful. Did you use a photo ref at all? I've been trying to find some good photos of deer in "strong" poses as references for a painting I am planning. Any ideas where to look?

The mule deer picture was done a long time ago from a wildlife magazine photo.
It was done for fun - never tryed to sell it....... hope that keeps the copyright police away.
Except for magazines - I'm not sure where to look for free.
There are some excellent photos available online for a fee to the photographer.
