Description
Worked on some Sunny Miami from Pixar's old short videos called Knick Knack. The older version of 1989 had the girls with some big bobs here where the 2003 version they were removed.Related content

My big brother used to not want me to watch this because I laughed at how Sunny Miami looked in the short. This was the 2003 version on the Finding Nemo DVD. Imagine how things would have gone if it were the original version...

But, like, if the mom complaining about the breast expansion breastfed their kid before, then chances are the kid DOES know what breasts look like and are technically for. A kid won't spontaneously combust if he sees boobs, nor is that kid the one complaining on the phone about seeing breasts on TV, the parents are. This is so stupid.

Yeah, like how they hide death in the 4Kids version and instead say someone was "taken away". Just as shallow as telling a kid their goldfish "ran away".
Also hypocritical how they removed the text on signs in certain episodes of the show to the point where they were completely blank. Wouldn't keeping the text on the signs and putting it in English "encourage kids to read more"?

Am I the only one that actually had nightmares of this short film? No? Just me?

John Lasseter's rational for the change was that he didn't want the short to negatively influence his daughter, but there's a good chance that 15 years later she already knows about the original thanks to the internet.

I like this a lot!
I prefer the original Sunny Miami. I can't stand censorship nowadays.

Internet is funny. one day you are a big tits skinny girl from a weird animation with a guy that like shout and no one give a fuck and then BOOM! you become popular and people start drew you, even knowing that you exist like 20, 30 years ago and no one have give a fuck to you untill now.
this same thing happen with aggretsuki, she exist a long time but just NOW people notice her just because the anime.

Because of little-to-no advertising; unless someone actively tries to find you, which is something not that many people like to do, unless you advertise yourself or are noticed by somebody big, nobody's going to know you exist. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, but that's what you have to do in order to get noticed: you must get your name out there.
That's why Aggretsuki went unknown for so long: it was only shown in Japan at the time and it has virtually no American fans.
