Description
So I've been meaning to do this for a while. Just so happens I uploaded this month when people do a daily ink challenge. But I don't need that! Just one cool pic in ink suits me! Inktober eat your heart out."You may match me in battle, but you and your cohorts are unfit to rule this land. Your days are numbered, wretch; I will roam free and see your kind vanquished to the last."
But yeah! This battle is EPIC! Let's not forget the music! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xe_Xgk⌠(My favorite boss theme in the game)
In Shovel Knight, Specter of Torment; Specter Knight sets out to recruit the bosses in the game and then comes across this mysterious figure. Whereas you face him as Shovel Knight when he's testing you for combat, against Specter Knight he lets you know he means business! And with all his flashy lightning powers (did I mention how much I love lightning powers?), Specter's in for the fight of of undead life. I felt quite a surge of tension in this "electrifying" battle!
I think I loved the music in Specter Knight's mode more than the original campaign. (Save for one track) Loved the remix of the theme on this stage, too. Specter Knight's play style invokes that of ninja gaiden (though I've never played that game), and was really fun. Had to draw a moment from it.

I've got to say, ink is a very fitting medium to represent this moment in the game with! Well done.
By the way, which track didn't you like from Specter of Torment? I'm going to take a couple guesses and say it's either Plague or Polar Knight's theme.

Thanks! I had fun with it.
It's not that I don't like the track: "Halls of the King," it's fun in it's own way, but the original had this epic quest feel that the new take didn't have. And though the newer is more of a merry tune, it's just not something I'd listen to over the "Halls of the Usurper."

Ah yeah, I can get why. I actually thought the same thing at first, since I always thought the original was the perfect "start to the adventure" song, but second one really grew on me after a bit as something separate from the first.

Yeah, I am listening to the newer one a tad more now.
