Usually when thinking about horror and a robot one would think of Frankenstein's monster. Though its pretty nice you don't confuse the concept when seeing this, in the small thumbnail you can't see the character's features, but the color and composition quickly give of that the picture would be vampire-related.

I personally enjoy the mechanical aspects of this picture more so than the woman.
From the machines face all the way down to the intricacy of its hands, it shows that the artist put alot of damned detail into this work >.>

I agree. The colors are fantastic, the concept is amazing, it's just an all-around fantastic piece. Personally, the woman strikes me as more of a joke than anything... An intentional one. Women are so often used to lure people in, but in this picture... well, she's almost in the way of the interesting stuff that's happening--i.e. the robot. Not to say that was the artist's intention... just my impression. Not to say she's an annoyance--I think she's an intergral part of the piece and her role (at least how I see it) is part of the point.
Course... that could be reading WAY too much into it... x3 And I mostly slept through the analytical parts of art class... <_<

dude, this is awesome. I love these categories fused, and mashed together. It's got a very gothic, mechanized look to it to boot, plus I love the hint of organic tones coming from the female figure. Great Job, keep it up.

Absolutely gorgeous work, but I have to ask - shouldn't there be a mature filter on this? I mean, it doesn't bother me personally, but I have the mature filter thing activated in case my younger siblings happen to be running by while I'm browsing. A completely naked woman is a bit mature..

Perhaps the only reason it has no filter is because there is no view of genitalia?
Breasts should not be considered something of mature content, as they do not exist for the sake of sexual activity. But I understand your point nonetheless.
