I NEED THIS. Two questions; 1. Are they for sale? 2. Where did you buy yours?

Nice replica you have here. I just got started with my own Wesker replica. I just have one question for you, would I have to look for specific rail undermounts for the samurai edge m9's like what you have here? I'd like to have one to attach a flashlight w/laser onto.

Well you would need one to specifically fit an M9 to make sure it fits the frame correctly yeah. The Edge is just a standard M9 so any M9 underrail will fit it. This is my old rail i no longer use. My latest upload of this gun shows the one i use now which i had to custom make myself. I cant remember where i got this one now it was years ago. Might be G&G make if i remember right though but im not sure. Any M9 rail will work of course, depends on the look you want and how you want it to fit. Some just attach onto the trigger guard and gets screwed on with a grub screw or like this one it attaches onto the slide release of the frame as well. They will pretty much all be standard 20mm RIS/weaver rails to allow attachment of any laser/light that has a standard 20mm mount on it

I appreciate the help. I'm looking to have an attachment that has not just a laser, but a light as well. I'm looking to use these more in my cosplays.

I couldnt care less when its a display piece, doesnt make the slightest bit of difference. I would get into a lot of trouble if it was a real gun, im not in the US

My deepest appologies I wasn't aware of that.I've been trying to find parts for an actual firearm.Nicely done by the way you had me convinced for a bit then I saw your other picture which upset me.

If i was in the US i might have got a real one just for looks sake but its not possible here, i do the best with what i've got. Since most people cant even tell if its real or not (since i constantly get asked that) then it doesnt really make any difference anyway. Would be nice if the frame and stuff was metal though but again i work with what i can get, i wasnt able to find what i was looking for

The samuari edge is based off a Berreta 92FS 9MM
look around on ebay or something you might be able to find a used frame and slide they're relatively cheap.

Is it a real firearm? Because aren't pistols illegal in the UK?

looks like you already have the laser/flashlight do you want me to just etch the "stars" emblem in it?

Thats just a standard laser unit, closest i could find to his. Its pretty much nothing like his and doesnt even fit the gun now with the new rail i've made, it sits too far forward when it should be against the trigger guard so im not using this one anymore

hmmm I have searched around and found some square looking versions they are the flashlight/laser ones instead of just a laser If I am to do this I would need the rail so I could size it right. Did you hear about the new chris redifeld samurai edge comming out in june by tokyo marui? It looks GREAT It says they used real steel on it too.

I would rather have an exact replica of Wesker's like the pic i showed you. I have a squarish one too but they dont fit on this rail, the lip inside them to slide them onto the rail isnt long enough so theres a huge gap between the laser unit and the trigger guard. Yeah i know about that 15th anniversary model. Bit too expensive though so i might not bother with it

yeah it's 220.00... they should lower it to the 120.00 range like the others but it does have upgraded parts on it yeah I could make it look VERY similar to the one seen in the photo but it will be alot of work :/ you might want to use that 150.00 and just save it for the wesker laser sight procedure because this one will be expensive since I would scratch build it.

I heard it was £200 (over $300) If its less than that then i may consider it. If it would cost around $150 or more to make it then dont bother for now i dont want to be spending that much on it. Maybe if i wasnt already sending you $150 for the syringe, which i will do sometime tonight. I do want the laser unit but i'll leave it for now

yeah man that is a serious project to tackle, yeah on the tokyo marui site it says 20,000 yen which is about 220.00 USD. It says they used real steel but I'm not sure on what I will pick one up hopefully before they are sold out.

I made it yes, no i cant remake it. I was lucky to obtain the original STARS parts separately (slide and grips) i am unable to get them again so i cant make another one. If you want it you'd have to buy 2 guns (TM Samurai Edge and a silver/chrome M9) and combine the parts. That would not be cheap

Im really impressed! what type of paint did you use for the chrome...never saw one come out that shiny or is that factory?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
RedDevil00 In reply to Challenger70TA [2010-10-19 17:42:37 +0000 UTC]
This is factory, i didnt paint it. I tried that before using a clear gun and sprayed it chrome. Dont do it. It was sticky as hell and just touching it left fingerprints all over the paint, was a total mess. After that i gave up and bought this gun. Expensive but worth it for this. It comes in chrome if you choose that finish so this is just how it comes. The slide is the same finish as the frame, for this i have switched it for my STARS slide but the whole gun is chrome otherwise

cool! yes I know those are VERY expensive to start with, Tokyo Myu or something like that makes them I think. I will have to post my converted Chris Redfield edge I used at AWA this year, I did paint it in a brushed stainless finish but I used car paint thus it actually dried and wasn't perma-sticky. I'll post some pics in a couple minutes. Mine I totally made from scratch, used a plain black and originally orange barreled airsoft 9mm Beretta, painted everything, grips, barrel and added the STARS emblems on the grip. Took some time but not back for a 10 dollar gun.
