Interesting piece you have here, the desicated old tree is an interesting contrast to the band surrounding it, one wonders did it die in captivity

The tree is a monument where i live, i belive its the oldest tree in north america...or is it canada?...well, you get the jest, but the bands that are around the tree are there to keep the tree from uprooting or falling over. The tree has been dead for decades. Thanks so much for your insight.

Yeah, but the sad thing was that the tree had aleady been dead for years. It's kinda a monument where I live.
