i agree and disagree with ur statement, but i think its wrong to say that it covers everything-makeup highlights ur features it does not make new ones because its color and lines. u only live for so long so why not wear stuff that changes ur face up? sometimes no makeup is great, but makeup is real, because ur face is real. do i look dramatically different without my funky makeup? no. u still c wat color eyes i have my color skin, how long my eyelashses are ect. i tottaly have to agree with spirt-of-the-dragon. its not about covering up, its about being that bit different than the person next to u.

Makeup doesn't have to be about looking prettier or being ugly without it. Its about expression of character or self. It caan be about self esteem or art. Makeup can be about looking beautiful as much as changing self. Some people don't like the way they look.

i have to agree, to an extent. i feel prettier without makeup.

but i love wearing eyeshadow and eyeliner and mascara because i can get artsy with it. and i like using blush and bronzer to set off the eyes (like how a picture looks better with a certain bg color). i dont like foundation because your skin should be healthy enough to go without it.

I completely agree, i hate wearing makeup, especially foundation, it makes the face look all cakey.

I have to agree with him, I don't mind eye shadow and liner and even lips stick but the rest I see no use for.

What I find funny about how you despise foundation more than eye make up is this simple fact-

Foundation doesnt hide much, it makes your skin clearer. Eyeshadow can alter ALOT, I just choose not to do that much...

Its eye makeup that can mask a bruise, make your eyes seem a different color, alter their shape and change your face, because your eyes are the main focus of it. Its Eyeliner that can hide thin lashes and eye shadow that can hide the true colors, and the colors you use on your eyes can distract you from some of the lesser blemishes on your face.

So in all reality, its eyeshadow thats so fake. Foundation makes you look fresher, but your eyes can be altered in so many ways if you use its make ups right, therefore altering your face....

Like...Avril Lavigne, Angelina Jolie, and Tyra Banks. Its not their natural that makes them beautiful.

Its their eyes.
