Bloody smeg, this took hours to do...
Hello watchers and people that have randomly stumbled upon these MC idea. Now, this idea was inspired by a group of droids called the scuttlers from a cult comedy show that was known as Red Dwarf ( images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__c…). After watching another one of their great episodes I came up with scutters in Minecraft. Now, as usual enjoy and comment below

Health Points: 15
Attack Damage: N/A
Spawn: N/A
Drops: Scutter*
Experience: N/A
As everyone knows, scutters can only be trusted with simple jobs. This unfortunately does not include attacking mobs. However, they can be trusted to gather blocks and items, patrol corridors and cook/smelt things. Scutters can be assigned to one block or item to collect, and will scour the world for it. Once the scutter has a full stack of whichever item it was sent to find, it will return to the player so then it can deploy the items and return to work. They can also be made to simply wheel around any structure they're placed in, and set to react to different mobs that appear in the building. It won't attack, but instead the scutter will send a message of which mob it is, and what it's coordinates are. Finally, they can be set to place an item into furnaces. If it's coal, blaze rods or any other type of fuel then it'll be placed in the fuel box and won't be smelted or cooked.
*Yes, there will be a scutter item that can be placed :3
