Playing with different kinds of lighting, I was pleased with the effect I got on this simple pic - plus I haven't done a fantasy pic in AGES!

yes, i agree with the above comments - more fantasy/swords&swocery stories would be much appreciated. those deep dungeons contain all kinds of surprises for all of the lovely female adventurers who venture into them....why, entire parties of young beauties have been known to vanish....captured by - who knows? perhaps our friend redpill could fill us in on their fate......

I really dig the lighting and setup, but I feel like something's a bit off with the gag, maybe the color of it or something saturation related.

Dang, you have a good eye! What you're seeing is the result of a leather texturing experiment that I tried and didn't care for the results much. I think what happened was I got INTO lighting it and forgot to fix that part. Sorry about that! Glad you like it anyways!

Yes, I agree, you've done very, very well with this image. The xpression in her eyes above the gag is quite ambiguous, which leads the viewer to a variety intepretations about her emotions at the point where you've illustrated her. Her eyebrows are very helpful in getting more specific, but I'm not sure that's a bad thing in this image. Delightful use of shading and shadow. Kudos!
