To help prevent myself from falling into the Pit of Art-block; As I usually do in the beginning of ever year. I decided to redraw some art and see how much I have improved over the years...
I took a look at some older drawings that I’ve posted on DeviantArt before, and saw this piece of — that I made in 2016.
2016 piece is based more off on an anime style that is conformed by sloppy line-art. The light reflections is there in some sections and none existent in other places throughout the whole thing. The body position of the character isn’t realistic, etc. I could go on for ages....
However, 2019 piece moves a little bit away from the anime aspects and into a more realistic style. The lighting isn’t so concentrated as the last piece, but still could use room for improvement. The body position has slightly improved, ....#tried #SelfCritic
