Description
A photoshop based on the Concept 03 Assault Rifle, which was made apparently for Interstellar Marines, I made this out of a bunch of stuff mostly the TDI Vector, but also parts from a .338 stock, a Bushmaster ACR, and a SCAR H.For more on the Concept 03 Assault Rifle you can visit:

Cool design. I'm sure the company that makes the Vector is working on this.

More precisely, it be called the super V assault rifle, but vector ar is catchier. Nice design, and kriss should make one.

If only Kriss would make one.

I think id have a good name for a Super V based assault rifle: VAR 21. Or KAR21. Kriss assault rifle, 21st century to go with the tavor and the sar 21s naming scheme.

Sold, I want two thousand of these delivered to the Legion Armory in the Mojave Desert.

Sadly, I lack the manufacting capabilities or the legal manufacturing rights to actually produce this, since TDI holds all the rights to the Vector design.Β

*drops 5 gold bullion* I risked life and limb in the Serria Madre Casino for these... Invapha valley race track in the Mojave Wasteland that's where the armory is.

Very well done.does it come in 50 caliber bullpup?

Vernon682 In reply to nesiwabisi [2014-10-05 04:26:49 +0000 UTC]
My .02, the super v system doesn't work on a bullpup. The bolt has to allow for travel in the front. In the back, recoil would actually be worse. Due to bolts mass going downward.

Hmm something to think about. Could a new recoil system be made for that, with the current system?

Vernon682 In reply to nesiwabisi [2014-10-09 16:43:10 +0000 UTC]
The only ways it could work is by doing without, or putting the thing upside down. Both ways suck.

How about a regular vector 50 cal Sniper?

Vernon682 In reply to nesiwabisi [2014-10-11 11:22:57 +0000 UTC]
The question becomes will the force break the system? Gonna need to be tougher then the .45 or even this hypothetical 5.56 to not snap. .50s have huge recoil that the super v system might not be able to handle.

Give the recoil more room to dissipate, Β add vents for the muzzle blast and use titanium for the build.

I rather like how smooth this design integration is ^^
Many of my favorite fantasy rifles i see these days seem to be pulling from the Vector Scar and P90.
I just wish i could understand the value (if any) in the back angled magazine load...beyond the aesthetic appeal.

RedZaku In reply to MasterOkiAkai [2012-08-24 18:44:15 +0000 UTC]
Well, it's built around the bolt which instead of just angling back towards the shoulder angle,s back and down deflecting the recoil energies of the bolt down, to prevent muzzle climb. Basically it works like a See-saw so that after the round if fired and the muzzle jumps, the bolt angling down towards the ground pulls the front of the muzzle back down to create a more accurate firing group.

Pff, this is just brilliant. Not too long ago, some other guy in this group and I were having a conversation about the potential design aspects of a rifle like this.
We'd figured that one could use a SCAR platform as a base in designing it, in conjunction with the original design of the Super V.
And guess what you just did?

you have a good point with this one. why isn't their a rifle with the Kriss V System (in real life)?? Neat!

RedZaku In reply to JeanLucCaptain [2012-03-31 04:29:24 +0000 UTC]
Well someone else had the idea first like I said, I made this based around the Concept 03 Rifle, which if you click the link is a Kriss V style assault rifle.

Tobsen85 [2012-03-28 07:55:11 +0000 UTC]
You put a larger magazine in it. So the cartridge ejection should be a bit larger too. It still has the original size for the .45 ACP rounds, does it?
π: 0 β©: 1
RedZaku In reply to Tobsen85 [2012-03-28 14:23:47 +0000 UTC]
Actually I did make the ejection port larger, about double it's original size on the normal Vector, but it might still be too small.
π: 0 β©: 1
Tobsen85 In reply to RedZaku [2012-03-28 16:05:30 +0000 UTC]
Really? It looks tiny. But all in all its a cool rifle!
π: 0 β©: 1
RedZaku In reply to Tobsen85 [2012-03-28 17:22:21 +0000 UTC]
It's definitely small for a normal rifle, but it's larger then the .45ACP ejection port. That was a good catch though, I'll probably update the image later.

Very spiffy looking, and utterly believable. The submachinegun in question scales rather beautifully into a full size rifle/carbine under your attentions.

The TDI Vector/Kriss Super V is a real submachine gun, but its never been upscaled like this.
