Description
After I finished biting his neck, which was VERY creepy, we laid down together on his bed to watch the stars. My head was rested on his shoulder while his arm was wrapped around me. You could barely see the stars since we were in the city but still they looked pretty. I looked up into Seth’s eyes. Even though he had bitten me he still looked normal. His eyes looked down at mine as he smiled.
“Remember when the ship exploded?” he asked.
Haunting memories from that day flashed back in my head. Watching him disappear to help the woman, waking up scared, watching the ship explode in front of my eyes, feeling lost fearing that I would never see him again.
“Yes,” I whispered. “What about it?”
“That explosion was no accident. The Stricka were trying to kill us. They were the one’s that gave Zelia the tickets in the first place.”
“It does make sense. But why are they in the first place?”
He kissed my forehead and ran his fingers through my hair.
“I don’t know, but all I’m really worried about is you.”  He said softly.
His words were so gently like his touch. They glided through my ears making me feel warm inside. I closed my eyes and rubbed the side of my face on his neck. His hands moved down to my sides, gently running his hands up and down slowly. Our lips locked together as my hands reached his chest. I have never felt like this in a long time. It was like floating on a cloud.
He turned me over on my back kissing me more deeply than before. My face began to heat up. It was annoying yet not at the same time. My arms wrapped around his neck as he kissed mine. My fingers glided across his bare skin. It was soft and warm and smelled like cinnamon apples.
Our lips released from each other as we stared into each other’s eyes. We both knew what we wanted to do but were we ready? His eyes glistened into a silver color. His fangs appeared behind his lips secretly like a snake sneaking up on its prey.
He slowly leaned his head closer to my neck. My hands began to sweat as his lips touched the side of my neck. What could I do? I couldn’t just sit there. Think of something…

“What are you doing!?” yelled someone from behind us.
We sat up and looked at the doorway. It was a nurse! I got up and grabbed my bag quickly.
“You’re not supposed to be here! Visiting Hours are over!” Her face wrinkled up as her eyes looked hard upon me.
I looked around the room for an escape but there was no way out. Only the window seemed to be the only option. I looked over at Seth and our eyes met.
You know when you know your friends so well that its like you’re reading their thoughts? Well we have been friends forever.
Seth got up and stumbled over some equipment. The nurse quickly ran to him to give him assistance. That was my chance. I jumped out of the window and opened my wings as I began to sail high in the sky.
I felt terrible for leaving him like that. But what was I to do? I would get in trouble if I stayed. I know that he would be fine. He is strong minded, and strong physically, but also strong in his heart.
I looked below me as I flew over Shadowberg. It wasn’t like New York City but it was still was shining brightly from all the city lights. It was like a Christmas tree in a way. We didn’t live in the main part of Shadowberg but still close to it. The clubhouse was in the forest and we had to ride our bikes to get there, but it wasn’t that far away from our homes.
I thought about Seth again fearing for the worst.  “I hope he is okay.” I said to myself.
He will be okay, just worry about yourself.
For once I agreed with her. I did need to think about myself for once and stop worrying about everyone around me. But why is it so hard to do that?
