We were in the clubhouse, yet again, for a meeting. Yes, they knew that I could fly and they had a picture of me in the air. So now the secret was gone forever! At least they didn’t know about our “other selves” or that Zelia, and soon Seth, had wings too.
The night time sky was showing up on the horizon. We had been talking for at least the whole afternoon about this problem. Who knows, maybe people will ignore the flyers and think this is a load of…
“Nessy? Are you even paying attention to what I am saying?” asked Zelia.
I looked up from the floor and met with her eyes. She looked tired along with Seth. This issue could take more than just one night. “Yes, I’m just thinking how about all of this too.”
Kevin was in the clubhouse too. Zelia even told him about her obtaining wings. He seemed to be cool with it but he seemed more worried about her safety.
Seth put his arm around me and kissed my forehead, “You look tired.” He said.
“Aren’t we all? Shouldn’t you be going home soon?”
“I’m sure my parents wont mind if I stay here. Besides I’d rather not move right now.”
That was something I had to agree on. It was getting colder and the heat that was generating off of him felt nice and warm. Maybe if I close my eyes for a little bit Zelia wouldn’t notice.

I felt her eyes drill into me causing me to open them again. Well at least I tried. “Zelia nothing is going to happen yet, I’m sure of that, unless who ever put the flyers up broadcasts this on the Internet or television.”
“And how long to you think we have until that does happen? We can’t just sit here and hop nobody pays attention. You are wanted for 10 million dollars! People love money and you know it.”
She did have a good point. But we JUST discovered that our secret was well discovered.
Don’t worry about your secret. Just stay out of the open and hang low. Don’t take off in the sky either. We will handle this in a quiet way.
“Pssh…Miss Wonderful seems to think this situation was going to turn out okay.” I said rolling my eyes.
“What?” said Zelia.
“Seria says that they will handle it.”
“Amera has been saying the same thing…”
“Well, I think we all need to head off to bed guys before we get in anymore trouble.” Said Kevin.
“Yes, you girls need to rest. Especially you.” Seth said will messing with my hair.

Morning came and went. Seth spent the night in the clubhouse even when I told him not to and a surprise hit us in the face…literally.
Zelia throw a newspaper at both of us. We were still cuddled up on the hammock due to the strange cold weather. The newspaper landed hard on the side of my head causing me to moan in pain. Which wasn’t the best thing to do because Seth stared wide-eyed at me in some kind of trance. Boys.
“What was that for?” I said grabbing the newspaper.
“Ya, Selia and Amera can handle this. Look what is on the front page!”
“Bird Girl has a hide out in Sun Creek Woods along with her mate and other friends.” Read Seth.
“How are they even finding us?!” I said while grabbing the newspaper from Seth.
“I don’t know. Maybe they put a tracking device on Seth or something.”
“Ya, and maybe they stalk Zelia home every night to see her get undressed.” Said Seth.
“Well maybe they gave you some drugs and you just told them everything about all of us!”
“Guys! Shut up or I’ll will beat you both senseless!”
The article seemed to mention everything we talked about last night. It even had direct quotes. Who ever these people are seem to have been listening in on our chat last night. But how did they even find us yet alone hear us talking.
“This is bad, we are going to be getting visitors soon I’m guessing.”
“Maybe we can hide somewhere else?”
“And let them keep finding us again? Ya great plan. It’s as good as the snowball plan you had last summer.”
“I swear we don’t need to be arguing right now. We need to try and survive right now.”
“Wait a minute.” Said Seth. Then he said in a quieter tone, “We could go to the underwater kingdom.”
“Oh no we aren’t. They will follow us!” said Zelia.
“Not if we are transported there by the others.”
“This could work. We can learn more about the past and they won’t be able to find us.” I said in agreement.
“Come on Zelia, you can take Kevin with you too.”
Kevin was part of us now. He had a other self too named Zeren.
