2007/01/08First drawing of 2007! Happy New Year!
Anyway, I've been working on this for a while; I've resolved to start drawing more this year. (Let's see how long that lasts!) And I haven't done anything cheery for a bit, so here's our tough ol' flower Tear managing a smile.
I like how the shading and hilighting turned out, especially on her midsection. I'm also proud of the background. Haven't done one of those in a while!
I miss this game! -needs second playthrough-

Excellent work anna-san! I love the shading and colour as well but my favorite part is how you did the eye's.

Yay, new art! I really like this. The background and the hair are both really nice. You also chose really nice colors that go well together, and the shading on the dress is really good. The only thing is that it looks a little pixelated in places. The outlines could be more solid. Though it must be really difficult to color and shade everything on the computer. I can't imagine doing anything close to this on the computer, so I really shouldn't be speaking.

Thanks for your honest opinion! Usually I draw on a much bigger canvas and reduce it down to the size I submit, but this time I magnified the picture to add detail, so the lines stayed scribbly-pixelated. Alasses.

Heheh, well, it is difficult. I got a tablet for my birthday, but it's still much harder to use than a normal pencil and paper.
