Here we have Deunan Nute and Briareos from Appleseed.This was a commission for my girlfriend. She wanted a picture of them in bed as lovers. I'm not used to drawing couples, but I think it turned out pretty good.

Not sure if Shirow ever went "there" artistically with this couple. He's certainly gone much further with other characters/ Japan-only general art.

Yeah! At the end of the manga, there is even a glimpse that Bri has something close to a tongue-esque appendage that he licks Deunan's cheek with when they are on vacation. Obviously cyborgs are made very anatomically correct!
