Description Well, I've been getting requests for more sewing tutorials, so here you go! Skirts are easy and quick things to make, and can be used with TONS of different costumes.

Great tutorial..

might I add a suggestion, for those that are not as knowledgable. If the fabric is lightweight, you might want to add some interfacing to the waistband. Sew in for fabric that is difficult to press under high heat, or iron in for cottons...personally I use a good canvas fabric for any fabric.

Good point! The pictures that I had laying around to make a tutorial from were from when I made Vai's new dark green skirt. I had to make it last min. and didn't have any interfacing on hand for the waistband ^_^;

I try to always keep at least two yards on hand. I almost don't care which kind. And usually always find some heavy fabric scraps in my bin. I seem to never throw away fabric bigger then an inch..LOL

Good idea I have a LOT of scraps on hand right now, and big pieces too, so I think I'm going to make some easy costume pieces to sell in my Etsy shop.
