Description
After some time off, I'm ready to start doing the remaining patches for the Enterprise Class.
I made this patch in order to use it for NX-06 Endeavour, but I ended up using it for the Explorer, mainly because the shorter name fits the small space better. It's based on the patch used in the missionΒ STS-100 , carried out by the shuttle Endeavour.
There are only 5 patches left to do, so I've made the decision to avoid using any orthographic view for them. As a result, I'll have to vectorize a 3D render of the ship from a different angle for each patch, so they may take more time than usual to make.

An excellent patch design. Do you have a source for the names of each of the ships, or are they your own selection?

Thanks! The names are my own selection, being taken from both the US and Soviet Shuttle Programs.

Veeeery nice!Β The only thing I see (as a fellow vector artist) is that you could probably cut off the blue body color behind the ramscoops on the front of the engine, so you don't get that little line of dark blue around them.Β Otherwise, WONDERFUL job on all accounts, and some seriously impressive design!

Thanks! I took a small break precisely because I wasn't in an inspirational mood, and I knew that if I kept going the quality was going to drop. Now I'm ready to finish them all!

I can understand that I too am in the mood atm, so just been playing games rather than doing my models. Though I do know pretty soon I'll be back at it. It's always the way. A break is good even from art etc.Β
