i'm pretty sure now that its May NaPoWriMo is done ... I have survived!

Alive
but in the midst of that image
of you behind me … my dreams…
your eyes in darkness
dreaming lightly – just a moment of derailment –
making me … taking me
higher than undressing thoughts.

Humbly hands caress … smooth
so smooth that skin replies
in whispered moan … more.

Soft winds as words erase
this muddled loneliness shouldered
while time-tense fabric cuts
across the undulation of
my chest … my breath
sharpens
sudden beating harkening
anticipation
flushed, as pink-stained as the softest fragrance
petal-fresh like spring.

I know you watch the rain … (that falls down
the underside of your universe)
I know you see my tomorrow, and walk in it
in front of me.

If life passes before this skin-on-skin
dance depletes …
then might I feel a pang of regret
for only cradling you … in thought
quiet of passion .. base without satisfaction … without
the sensuality
of dancing
… on your skin.
