the concept is very good and the drawing itself is amazing.
If I had to find a flaw I'd say the "inquisition eye" it's a little off compared ot the other one (maybe too up and on the left), but since you centered it on the knuckles it's not noticeable.
I particularly like how you rendered Cassandra: all the graphic choices about her (conceptual, design and fan-made) make her look tough and sharp, here she looks more... fragile. Not in a "feminine" or "weak" way, but more "human". Considering she went through a lot of crap in her life (from the "Dawn of the Seeker" story to "meet Varric and endure him telling you DA2 XD) this puts in image a side of her I had seen in Inquisition but never saw in any fanart (so far): the tired warrior that served an Ideal and can't wait to put the weapon down but will keep bearing it until it's necessary, even if it means keep fighting until you die. The hand covering her eye and the symbols highlight her "cuirass" and "shield", while the naked shoulder and the expression of the visible eye tell the other part of the story, that she's a person willing to live her life for once and not always serve a higher purpose bhut be also able to afford some of her own dreams and goals, as the "smoky" effect gives the whole piece a "ever-hanging" feel, so both of these are true...
Am I reading too much into it?
(sorry for the "critique", but you can use it as inspiration for presenting the piece to the teacher - if it's not too late XD- or as "review" from third parties- tell them I'm Italian and we know good art when we see it XD)

I thought those colors and patterns are too subtle for her, but if you do "Guilty pleasures" quest and talk to her after that... it actually fits
