now, giving red riding hood a gun might not have been the most original idea, but I just had to jump onto the "girls with big guns"-bandwagon at some point, right?

Now THIS is definitely a painting that really took my breath away upon seeing the notification for it in my inbox. I don't normally leave lengthy comments, but this piece is just screaming at me to do so.
There is something so wondrously haunting about the darkness of the forest contrasting with the bright, sharp lighting on the wolves, and although the designs are only white they capture the eye instantly. Special mention has to go that rather large, lanky fellow in the centre of the painting. The elongated arms and wild, messy fur on the neck and face especially make it appear as though it were something out of your most horrific nightmare, and really captures the animalistic, ferocious aura it expels. The curling fangs are a lovely touch also and certainly something I adore drawing myself, and even without the blood that smile would surely keep me awake at night. There is something about the werewolf's face that also feels shockingly realistic that I can't quite put into words, but it feels as though it could suddenly jump through the screen and devour you. It is, without a doubt, someone you do NOT want to meet during a nightly stroll.
Red Riding Hood is also incredibly eye-catching, not just for her confident, 'ready to kill' pose, but the vibrant red of her cloak against the pale eeriness of the environment and her adversaries. Of course, the red is a given and something you can't exactly avoid considering the subject, but I feel like you have mastered it exceptionally well in this painting to make it feel like a new, fresh experience. I also feel that you balanced out the redness of the blood with Red's clothing very well, so that one does not overpower the other with its vividness.
This is certainly something I wouldn't hesitate to buy and then hang up on my wall for all my friends and guests to see. An absolute marvel of a painting, Remarin. Well done.

Ohhh man I want to try out for this now, but I'm so not good at backgrounds and high action poses- I feel like I'd never get it done in time. Still, your piece is absolutely gorgeous! I love how it's been drawn. Especially how the wolves are almost like ghosts in the forest, their expressions are awesome too. The the subtle hints of blood in the other wise dark and de-saturated piece also really makes things pop, at least for me. Overall I just adore your work haha

A couple seconds after uploading it, I started to second-guess myself and got slightly worried: "what if I unconsciously copied Rwby's outfit??" not remembering what the exact dress looked like, I quickly googled and hoooh boy, lucky me!
