Description Another contest entry, I feel bad for all the entries I've been spamming Kique with, now. XC
Can anyone spot the symbolism?

The daylight was just starting to pierce the darkness that had been left hanging thick in the air. Kiranji shook her head, fur bristling and eyes wide, "W-What's wrong?" The other she-wolf was shaking rapidly, her breath heaving her her pupils small and crazed, the whites of her eyes were bloodshot. The she-wolf took a few alarming steps forward and an ominous feeling seemed to pass through the air, leaving Kiranji nervous. "Mom, please!" She whined, after putting the herbs back in the satchel she kept hidden under her cloak. She looked into her mother's eyes, but only for a mere few seconds before her mother launched herself forward unexpectedly. Her mother managed to swipe her claws near Kiranji's left eye and draw blood before Kiranji was able to react, stumbling backwards in confusion. Her mind was an emotional blur and she wasn't sure what to do but she didn't want to hurt her mother. She managed to dodge most of the other she-wolf's attacks and after a while her mother fell to the ground, sides heaving and taking on the full impact of her exhaustion. The illness had drained her energy and only made it worse by giving her a crazed side, she was combative now.
Kiranji looked down in shock at her mother's sudden actions, eyes wide and brimming with tears. "No, no! Please don't mov--" She paused in the middle of her sentence, watching in horror as blood began pouring from her mother's mouth and nose,  streams dripping from her eyes. Her mother whimpered and writhed on the ground, then began twitching as if she were running, even though she was laying on the ground. Her mother was letting out heart-tearing yelps and cries of pain that Kiranji could never forget. Kiranji didn't hesitate long, hearing her mother's pain, she quickly shoved a poisonous berry down her mother's throat, not bearing to tear into her mother's beautiful pelt or be stained with her blood.
Her mother's movement immediately stopped and her eyes seemed glazed over now. "I....I'm so sorry, first my siblings.. Then you?" She shook her head and sang out a string of curses, "How!?!" Her rage and despair spewing out, "How could this happen!?! Are the Skygods gonna leave me to meet more pain, what did I do to deserve this?!?!" She shook her head, tears spilling down her cheek fur while she shook with anger. "I did all that I could to help them and it never worked, it never worked for anyone!! Am I gonna be left on this pitiful, merciless world to die out like everything else with a scrap of life has?!" She howled out a beautiful song of mourning, her eyes taking on a distant look. "No..." She whispered and dropped down, pressing her head to the snow and muttering out her sorrow into the frost. After a while, a soothing voice brought her some comfort, "I am very sorry for your loss, we have done all we could to help with this illness, but we are yet to fix it... I am Father, I am here to help you."
Kiranji looked up, "Father? Father, why help me, why now?"
The voice simply replied, "I have only tried to help, but now I must save the great living beings that do not suffer this illness, you will come with me and you will adapt to the new world in which you shall stay until this one is cured."
Kiranji glanced up at the sky again, catching the glimpse of three blue stars that seemed to be descending from the morning sky. They landed on the snow blanketed ground and she instinctively seemed to know this was Father here to help her.
