You made many rules, but I follow them not.
YOU, though, are bound by them.
YOUR caught.
Trying to put me together with glue
But it is I who is unraveling
YOU.
Your every plan has spilled on the floor.
But pursue me you STILL do much more
Each step you take fills with pools of denial
That each game I play is of an infinite child.
You dream of ME as the captured one
As YOU sleep inside YOUR own prison.
You HAVE no control.
Can’t you SEE?
Every move YOU make is because of ME!
But when you see MY strength in EVERY flame,
You'll know right then that YOU’RE to blame
For that unreachable goal to control MY power
Is factually,
INDEED,
What made YOU so sour.
So suffocate or
Suffix to say
That, sorry,
This just ISN’T your day.
So accept my apology as you try to catch breath,
But you can't have MY power of surviving YOUR death.

Mmm...I might've put in "spoken word". But then again, all my stuff is spoken word...so...~shrugs~. As to the piece itself: amazing conglomeration of varying ideas relating to one theme and one conclusion. This makes a real statement. Great work. ¬¬ Sounds like my mother... Oh well, I like this.
