Except Kinect is Microsoft's turd... not Ubisoft's.
Also, Ubisoft doesn't make very many games, internet codes or matchmaking services. They're primarily a publisher. They used to make games though, pretty good ones too. They don't seem to have very many multiplayer focused games either. You wanna rage, rage at EA and Micro$oft

Can't find much to hate about Microsoft other than the Ruse that tried to pull back with the Xbox one but aside from that again not much to complain.

Kinect, GFWL, Xbox, Windows Vista, Windows 8, Windows 10, Being butt buddies with NSA, complete disregard for human rights, and people's right to privacy within Windows 10 (and probably just more behind the curtains on all prior windows releases), Office Pack Monopoly, DirectX (Creating fragmentation between platforms by being a windows exclusive API; I hope devs have learned already and just use mf vulkan), Xbox Live, Spying on Skype, Spying on live mail (and hotmail), Internet Explorer, Edge, Outlook (and spying on any outlook mails you send or receive)...
Need I go on? They're fucking assholes, the most toxic company in the computer world, even more toxic than Apple (and I'm sure you can relate to how toxic Apple are).

Well thank you for bringing this up with me as I have not been aware of Xbox's excessive spying though I can't just quit there consoles due to my incompetence on how to properly maintain a PC.
The IPad is something I can get around though fiddling around with email settings is still a bitch to do for me, anything relating to virus protection or admin controls is completely out of my control.

Microsoft's treachery is mostly on the PC scene, so if you're not using PCs at all you are probably unaffected. (I wonder what you mean by problems maintaining a PC though), but if you're not gaming or anything on the PC, you may want to try out Ubuntu, you might like it. And it gets you free of Microsoft's spying and Apple's narrow minded and poorly coded systems (and there's also a rather unknown how much of user data they are stealing and whether or not they sell it, they sure put up a face though unlike microsoft). Admittedly Ubuntu seems to have kinda sold out (to amazon, and they do put spyware in your system, just a lot less than the other two), and if that worries you then you can do what I do and use something else (Debian is a popular choice, ubuntu derivatives as well (the ubuntu based)) it might be something for you. Linux is recognized for how it is easy to set up in such a way that no maintenance will EVER be needed for the system (and these popular linux distributions are generally very easy to install, and everything just works out of the box).
