Anna is a half-elf, a new arrival from the Fae Kingdom, and a linguist assigned to of all things, media affairs. She watches TV, reads newspapers, and transcribes everything back into several languages for those back home. I have had to warn her off several sources, not wanting them to get a horrifying view of our world, and keep things in context for her. She knows something like 300 languages so she is incredibly smart and fluent. And she picks up things all the time.

No, the Earth is not flat and people do not believe that. Well, some people do, but don't listen to them. Then she comes back, if they believe it to be flat, then flat it is to them! And she nods cutely with a big smile as if she just proved her own truth and I rub my face in agony.
