So I wrote out my feelings on the next Playboy reboot in my Journal, and I was sitting here asking myself, "...if I ran things, what would I show?" I have to work in 3d, so bear with me.

And I feel you can't answer that question without a little thought. You don't really want to go too much into full-spread anatomical porn, but you don't want that to be a limit that says topless-only or no-spread shots. You never want to limit art with rules, because the rules are there to be learned and then broken. So I feel there should be no limits on what is shown, but taste and artistic purity is the guide. To me, the beauty is hidden in the woman's beauty, and that beauty reveals her soul. I feel every pose and every angle has its place, if used in taste and with artistic meaning.

But male nudity in Playboy? Sure, it is all art to me. Especially like this, where I don't really want to explain my composition, but there is an equality, connection, and tenderness here I find beautiful. The message underneath matters. If we can show all of her, then we must show all of him. And them together. And in this image, there is a message of equality and togetherness which I feel defines sexuality and relationships.

And that discussion and artistic statement on human relationships and mature sexuality is always what I felt the core of what Playboy was to me.
