Another fun note, I was trying to position this so her hand wouldn't be stuck inside the ship - but I realized if her hand was stuck in there, the viewer immediately got a sense of scale, position, and also the fact this was a non-solid hologram. It's better and a lot more clear where and what this is with that collision, and then the strong green light helps tie it all together.

The simplification/reduction of the dialogue certainly helps and the ship model is much better.
Now I'm looking forward to new new stuff!

Yeah, when you cram a lot into one panel, you lose a whole lot. Here, the focus is firmly on the damage report, and the reader doesn't have too much going on other than a short side conversation done in a hurry. I am still trying to keep that rushed pacing with multiple interactions on a panel, but without overloading the reader.
