Nicely done. Just saw a variant of these last week in Newfoundland. Years ago my grandfather got me on board one after chatting with the flight crew. Definitely a purpose built, no extras, type of plane.

Let me guess, that person was the test pilot of Il-28 "Beagle" bomber, am I right? And I remember that he liked that aircraft...

No) that person is far to young to be an Il-28 pilot

I know, I know... But check this out;
"The Il-28 prototype performed its initial flight on 8 July 1948, very much on Ilyushin's schedule, with OKB chief test pilot Vladimir Kokkinaki at the controls, accompanied by radio operator B.A. Yerofeyev and navigator N.D. Sorokin. It was powered by British-built Nene engines, part of a batch that had been obtained as part of the license manufacturing deal. Kokkinaki reported the aircraft handled well and that it was easy to fly, with no major 'funnies'."

Why would I do that?
(BTW, I downloaded a book about Il-76 and its variants and I saw the mighty ABL; A-60! )

I've got those rumors too... And why wouldn't Russia create such things? I mean, look at USA.

Because as I heard the US program YAL-1 was closed in 2011

This is what you get when you're working on ABL systems... They cut the funding, and cancel it. And you sit down like a duck and wait for further orders.

This looks great. Doesn't even look low poly (I like that ). Lighting is very nice too. The tire material looks a bit light too me though?
