I made some obvious and not so obvious changes.
Gone are the glowing yellow boots by VERY popular demand. I also got rid of the white outlines on her bodysuit. Wings are brighter, mask is changed, and gold buckles and boot soles were added as well.
To clarify, she is a super powered heroine named Cardinal. Sins is just the title of the comic, not part of her character's persona. I'm also thinking that the wings actually do work and aren't just cosmetic but I'm also thinking that she can make them vanish entirely (hide) which I know is a silly comic book trope. I'll be honest, captured winged heroines don't really do anything for me and in renders they'd just get in the way and present a ton of technical issues. Besides, IMPOSSIBLE to have a secret identity when you have red wings on your back full time.

I think making the wings disappear sounds about right. In that case, you could make them a little bigger, and perhaps change the colour. I mean bright red wings aren't really stealthy, are they? Other than this, great costume!

I am making the wings larger in V3 but they'll stay red since cardinals are red birds.

Gotta go and change Wisp! I was also thinking of having Wisp be able to hide her wings, though my idea was more for her sake. I imagine it would be awkward getting changed for gym class or going swimming.
The render is looking good! I like the idea of functioning wings. Got her powers sorted yet? I picture her more as a vigilante type. Like, not caught up with trying to be nice/play by the rules. Nice logo too! Does this mean she's replacing a certain owl and eagle as DA's avian heroine?

Mostly the wings are just in the way and an "obvious" target for torture and pain and that really is a turn off I think. You are the one that suggested originally that Wisp could hide her wings which is where I got the idea for Cardinal. 
As for the powers and other questions, I'm still working on it. I don't think she'll be a gritty vigilante type though, mostly because I get pretty bored with that. For me it's the difference between Batgirl and Batwoman. I like (love) Batgirl a lot more because she is a good heroine where as Batwoman is more dark and foreboding.

Fair enough. I can understand that! I mean, you've got baddies to be dark. I didn't actually know Batwoman was a real character until coming here. I thought people just made her up to have their own bat character

I thought the boots were OK but this works too, though I quite like boots to look slightly different from the legs...maybe if they were red?
The wings are nice. I take what others are saying that they could maybe be a little bit bigger, especially if she has the ability to conceal them somehow. Though you say that small wings fit better in renders, and as always artistic reasons should be more important than realism, this is a world with superpowers after all

I was on "team yellow boots" but these are good too. If her wings disappear when not in use, you should really enlarge them. She'd have to flap like a hummingbird with those tiny things. I say make 'em big and impressive when in use.

Go big or go home!
I like the idea of wings so big they could be used in a fight as well as theoretically carry a person, but aesthetically, smaller does have it's benefits. But I think at least a little bigger is the way to go. Those things look like toys.
I researched this when conceiving Pegasus, the winged member of the LC, and most birds have roughly a wingspan of twice their body length, so translated to a human's height, you're looking at 11-12 foot wingspan. Interestingly, if you compare them to the only flying mammal, the bat, their wingspan is roughly five times their body length. A thirty foot wingspan is pretty excessive though.

The cardinal's wingspan is only a few centimeters longer than it's body length. It's kind of the short, fat, and pudgy songbird it looks like. So, doing some math in my head if Cardinal's body is 5'7" her wingspan should be 6" to 6'5" ish which is definitely isn't right now. I'll tinker around with it when I get some free time this weekend and release V3. I got some feedback regarding her boots that I like too, so we'll see where it goes.

She looks really good. Regarding the wings, you can just say she makes them disappear with magic when she doesn't need them around. If you want them to be functional, then they are kinda small. They look about the same size as those wings cosplayers wear when they want to dress up as angels. So it depends on how "realistic" you want to be. Heck, Hermes has little wing tips on his ankles! If she's designed for cuteness, I'd leave them that size.
