Sculptures are finished! Here is a snapshot of three of the "pebble" foxes , and a grey wolf.From left: a red fox, a bat eared fox, a sand fox ( the fennec sculpture ), and a grey wolf.
We are making progress towards having these pieces in our online store.
The Arctic fox is finished too. I will get a photo of him soon.

Do you mean grey fox species? Yes, I am sculpting one right now. He is sitting up, not in curled position like these though .

OHH -yes I have painted a bunch of those!... as part of a Grab bag red fox batch. They should be going into the store this month sometime! I'll post a pic in my gallery.

I really want to purchase one of each of these little pebble foxes. A red, silver, grey and all others. I would also like to purchase a pebble wolf, is it possible you could make a black wolf for those with the totem like myself?

Yes I plan to paint some more wolves too, soon as the castings are dry. I think I will paint another grab bag batch and some batches of individual colors like white and black.

We don't have any for sale right now because they turned out to be really difficult to paint. I hope to produce them somehow, eventually , and when thisΒ happens they will be offered from our online store. We did sell a couple batches of these, but they proved to be much too hard to paint! We will be selling these when we find a batter method for finishing them.

The originals were sculpted from epoxy clay. Molds were made on the originals; these are cast in gypsum and painted with an airbrush.

Yeah ,I'm trying to keep these cheap, but as usual, these things are a lot harder to paint than I thought they would be. The smooth finish can be marred so easily!

I got my fennec yesterday, he's now taking pride of place on one of the shelves in my bedroom. I'm really hoping to get a bat eared to keep him company. I have quite a few red fox & wolf ornaments already, but you never see bat eared or fennec ones anywhere!
Any idea when you're going to have the bat ears up for sale? Are you going to post something on your journal when you have it up or do I have to keep an eye on your website? I really don't want to miss them.

I will post news of it in my journal on here, but the first batches of everything we put in our store usually sell out almost instantly. I plan to have these as regular items in our store, so eventually they will be easy to get.

Love this series! Very charming designs. I'd love to see you add a Tibetan Fox, just to see that hilarious face rendered in stone. But seriously, I'm glad you added a Bat-eared Fox, they are too cute.
