Hi, no, it's not a movie sequel, it's a fanfiction story. ^^' But it will play few months after the movie. I planned it for 2019. Be ready for it.
There will be a lot of new things, especially about Rango. Nobody knows his background story (until now) and I chose a complete different story for him. Including a lot of new characters. But this story will not be the last one. After that, a lof of more stories will follow, which base on this story. With a lot of spin-offs with the same OC's and other characters, which will play a big role for Rango and other movie characters, like new background stories for city people, and a new backgroundstory for Jake. By the way, there will also be some important points of the Rango Video Game inside, but that will come more in the spin-offs. (Science-fiction. 
) It will be my biggest written project and well, it will take few years to finish the series to an end. Be surprised and enjoy the new legendary story of the Rango world. See you in "The Legend of Rango" and much more!

Well, well... there will be a lot of (silly) theories. For example Rango's background story. In future there will come Bill's and Jake's OCs. :3 And much later their children. Maybe I will upload next year the first chapter, which plays in the past to give you a foretaste.
But this will take time until begin. Until then I keep silence.
Next year comes the other Rango world story.
