Yes this is pretty much the default Light but a little brighter.
I haven't tried that SSS either, just the bog standard on I showed you.. Is there something you are going off?? I'd like to try it

Sorry I thought you had found another way to do the SSS
It does look waxy sometimes..the more ambient light you use the less waxy it looks IMO.. I have a theory its something to do with the specular settings on BBs shader.. I will be experimenting soon.
