My male entry for =kitton 's character design contest.Hm. Yes, he has *very* bland clothing, but I suppose he can fit into just about anything. That, and I tried to focus more on his build, so that his body is his more distinctive characteristic, rather than his clothes. And since I'm still terrible with anatomy, feel free to put any input on that.
As for being good or evil, I think he'd easily sway to either side. Right now, I imagine him just wandering about after recently escaping/being released, not knowing what the crap is going on (hence the failed attempt at faded clothing). It's just the matter of who gets there first. :0
And the color samples; two of the colors are very similar to each other, but the one on top is for his bandages, while the one underneath is for his mouth. Sorry if it was inconvenient, but the color samples I laid down in OpenCanvas weren't exact. I also left out some easy-to-find colors (silver and brown), so I hope no one will get anal about it.

I really like his eyes and different expressions, and his muzzle, as well. ...I like him. XD Unlike kitton, I think the inability to talk would make him really interesting...

I don't entirely agree with *kitton and ~Epiaruna I think this guy would be a blast to write. Completely action dependent, which would make it easy to have everything based off of his expressions, and I absolutely love his idea. But it is *kitton 's comic.

I love the mask, it adds more spice to the character bag. ^.^ It's good that he doesn't wear anything too elaborate because that would be a pain to draw over and over again.

I like the idea of this character, Awe he must hate mirrors then, XD be cool if he knew sign language, but then drawing it woule be like ahh hand signs @.@!

He seems a very interesting character, and he'd probably have to use some sort of signing to communicate. He seems very sad, and I like him.

Oooh, he seems very unique! His inability to stand and speak give the experimentations an actual sense of reality (if someone was stuck in a tiny cell for months on end, as I imagine him to be, he cannot possibly have superhuman strength nevermind have good posture! :3) I think his outfit is simple, but in a good way. If you really thought about it, the more simpler the outfit, the easier he is to draw. Yet, his outfit is on the edge of simplistic yet unique (the face mask giving him more personality). Wonderful job on this and best of luck in the contest!

That is one great character! I love the personality design for him. I can really see him being a character into all of this, but like =kitton said, it will be a challenge to write him in. Anyway, I think my favorite part to him is self-conciousness. I dunno, it just makes me like the character that much more.
His clothes look fine to me. I don't think he'd be the type of person anyway that would like flashy clothes or anything to make him stand out, because then it'd bring attention to himself and his mouth.

Ahhh his name is Lawrence (which is my ultimate favourite name) so I like him already :3 I think he has a very very cool design (especially the mouth) But I'm concearned for including him..... Its just that he looks like a lot of work to write (with his inability to speak and stand properly) but hey! This is all about the learning curve and a challenge :3
